VINTAGE PHOTO FRIDAY
With a neck that long you don’t need a necklace.
We are just a bit obsessed with this site
We had such a lovely visit to the Tumblr offices this morning. Thank you for the hospitality, Valentine!
xx Lulu

Lisa and Marlon traveled down the California coast last week. They had all kinds of adventures and picked up some treasures along the way.

An Indian Head Penny in a horseshoe - double luck, graffiti, weird grab-bags (“Adult-Man???), delicious diner breakfast, blissful cali coast.
Azealia Banks. So fly.

We always thought sandals and socks was the ultimate fashion faux-pas. But this trend has been popping up everywhere lately and with the tricky spring weather upon us, we like the idea of being able to wear our fancy shoes without freezing our toes off.
We think it works particularly well when paired with a bright sock like the floral ones above. Would you rock it?

How gorgeous are these fashion dolls that Andrew Yang designed for Barneys Japan.
We got to see some of his window displays on our recent trip. The detail is incredible!

Here’s some of the new vintage items that came through our haul this week.

Decoding Serena
1. profession / job title: Consultant Special Projects for Lincoln Center Institute, Events Director at ASMALLWORLD
2. favorite number & why: 4. It’s my Dad’s lucky number and I’m a Daddy’s Gal. For some reason unbeknownst to me, I’ve been drawing the number 45 in the sand, snow and air all my life. I’m not sure what that has to do with luck, although I like to believe it may be the age when something magnificent happens to or around me.
3. best spot for shopping in NYC: Thomas Sires on Elizabeth Street is like a mini-Colette, they have everything from kids clothes to jewelry, paper and ready-to-wear items from their eponymous label. I also love The Reformation and Some Odd Rubies on Ludlow Street for one-of-a-kind re-designed vintage finds. Just being at stores like Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Opening Ceremony and Assembly makes me feel like an artist. If I won the lottery I would raid Kirna Zabete for everything they have. Di Palo in Little Italy for cheese.

Above, Serena wears a Lulu Frost 50 Year Necklace.
